Total Flood Solutions: Barriers

We have three types of barrier, the technologies behind which we use as a base when designing systems for a property. They each come with a guarantee which we renew annually subject to a maintenance check.

Retractable Barrier

The retractable barrier was initially developed for use in London Underground. Once installed it sits in situ, flush with ground level, ready for a quick and simple deployment. The cover can be finished in a number of different styles allowing the system to blend into its surroundings.

Swinging Barrier

The swinging barrier is a simple but effective system. It works using a door hinged to the side of the frame which swings into position and creates a seal. The door can be removed and stored when not needed and the frames can be finished in a variety of colours match that of the property.

Lift-off Barrier

The lift-off barrier is a similar system to the swinging barrier, but without the hinges. The door is slotted into the frame when necessary and removed when not.
