Flood Risk Assessment

Development in the flood plain is discouraged under PPS25, however, in some circumstances, where no alternatives are available or where the type of development is permitted. Development is possible as long as adequate precautions are taken to minimise flood consequences. TFS systems can be incorporated at design stage to meet the requirements of PPS25 in minimising flood consequences.

Bespoke Design

Our Engineers will work with your Architects / Designers to incorporate the flood alleviation systems to minimise cost and ensure the design is not compromised.

Installation

We only use our own staff for all our installations, our teams have a range of skills to suit your installation. They will work efficiently with your contractor to minimise disruption and complete the scheme as quickly as possible subject to the weather. We will ask you to complete customer satisfaction form as part of our quality control and to sign off the job at completion. We also provide training for the users along with user manuals. Our staff has many testimonials for their work and helpful attitude.

Servicing and Maintenance

As with any key installation, it is imperative that it is kept in good working order so that it performs to expectations when it is called upon to protect the property. Our systems are no different and we provide an annual maintenance contract so that the system is properly serviced and kept in good condition to be as effective as it was designed to be.

A full service is undertaken on pumps, NRV’s, Smart Airbricks, barrier seals etc and the whole system is checked over. Costs depend on the extent of the system but will be quoted with the main installation so you know the ongoing costs from the outset.
